Educators are Talking

quotes

Paula, Teacher, West Ruck ISD

I have a better understanding of how to differentiate my lessons by using the tiered assignments and flexible grouping in my classroom.

quotes

Shelly, Teacher, Spring ISD

Nice, concise presentation to remind us of the key components of our assessment system and how they impact student performance.

quotes

Christi, Teacher, Carrol ISD

Really got me thinking about the students in my room and their letter knowledge. I am thinking of ways to differentiate assignments based on their readiness.

quotes

Yvonne, Teacher, Kress ISD

I like that I can be on campus and not at Region doing this. Sections are short and to the point so I can work on them during my conference period. I can either listen to or read the information.

quotes

Kaila, Teacher, Hutto ISD

I like that it was at my own pace, and I was able to go back and listen to a certain section if I needed to.

Here’s What You Need To Know About Preventing Disease Transmission in the Classroom

There’s never been a more pressing time than now to address disease transmission in the classroom.

The coronavirus pandemic is still at the forefront of most people’s minds, especially teachers who have to navigate the restrictions and requirements of safely educating their students. Many who have been teaching virtually are in the process of transitioning back to the classroom setting.

Even after the coronavirus pandemic is no longer an immediate threat, it will still be vital for educators to know how to mitigate the risk of disease transmission in the classroom.

According to medical research, the average American school-age child contracts six to ten colds per year. Depending on your classroom size, it’s likely that there is at least one student with an illness on any given day.

Exciting Updates to the Responsive Learning System

We’ve updated our reports! If you have any questions or would like to see a demo of the new reports, join us on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 11 AM CST for a zoom demonstration and live Q&A.

  • Course completion certificates are now available in PDF format on the Administrator Dashboard.
  • The Order User Summary Report allows you to filter by orders and get a summary of the number of hours and courses that participants have used broken down by courses that are incomplete vs. courses that are complete. This report gives you the power to easily check on your teachers’ training progress for their gifted 30-hour core, gifted 6-hour update, or any other block of training that requires more than one course.
  • The Course Reflective Questions Report makes it simple to review your teachers’ responses to reflective questions in one place.
  • The Course Summary Report has been overhauled to give a more detailed picture of the course requirements and teacher’s current completion status. The report now shows how many modules and reflective questions have been completed and we’ve added a certificate download button right on the report.
  • The Course Detail Report now includes a by-the-module breakdown of teacher progress and course requirements, and no longer contains reflective questions and answers.
  • Use this link to log into the demonstration on May 6, 2021 at 11 AM CST:
